Hello everyone! How is the Washington, D.C. enrollment center with walk-ins? I live in Philadelphia, and would like to use the global entry card for a trip in a month. The earliest available time I can schedule in my region is all the way in Pittsburgh.

I see in the Wiki that someone had luck in Washington D.C. fairly recently (March 15). Since it's closer to me, I'd rather give that a shot as a walk-in.

I walked in at DC location yesterday (3/20). There were 3 agents working and going through the list pretty fast. I was there 20 minutes (including my interview). Super easy w/ the metro stop right there.

Wife and I walked in on Friday 3/24 at ATL International terminal. Was discouraged heavily by guy behind glass. "You will be here all day" and "Youre not a priority" yada yada. We were polite and told him that was fine. We arrived at 8:15 and the there were several other walk ins. They were all on layovers and all had to eventually leave and catch flights. It was busy with scheduled interviews between 9 and 10:15. Then it slowed down and we were seen individually between 10:35 and 10:45. Were tols its up to 24 hours to receive approval email. My wife dropped me off around the corner for work at 11 and I had an approval email with a 10:51 timestamp. Well worth the 2 hour wait,=.

DW has an appt this Sunday at LAX. My younger son and myself have appointments at Long Beach next week (5 hours apart, hopefully they'll let us go in at the same time) and my older son (10) has an appointment at LAX later this week. I was really hoping they could squeeze at least my older son in with my wife so that we don't have to drive to LAX again but the CBP office said they can't because they have the day's worth of appointments and info are downloaded in the morning and they can't see any additional people.

As others have mentioned, there is a sign saying "No walk ins". DW was out in about 5 min and she got the approval the next day.

Ah well! 1 down, 3 to go!

You can try at Long Beach if they will take you all three at the same time.

Thanks 1KChinito (hah, I think I get your alias!) but the LAX appt is this Thu and the Long Beach appointments are next week, so I don't want to skip the LAX unless I can for sure get another appointment before our trip in 2 months.

Have you tried to do a new search several times a day when GE offices are open? Last minute cancelations occur frequently.

Welcome to FT. From what I read here, 3 pm shift is easier. You may wish to try Easter Sunday. So far no one has reported being turned away as a walk in at SFO.

Or do a new search several times a day when GE SFO office is open for a cancellation.

Good luck and let us know your result.

To answer my question: No walk-ins allowed/accepted.

I was there with a scheduled interview but asked and the officer told me that they are always double-booked and that is the reason.
