My husband and I also applied together the same day and I was approved in 8 days and he's still waiting. I'm glad my obsessive planning prompted us to apply as early as we did since we fly in August.

Applied 4/4 and got fully approved right after my interview 5/8. Got my card in the mail 5/13 (activated it next day) .

Very short approval time!

4 year-old applied on May 10th, received conditional approval on May 16th.

No available interviews for a while (at the least inconvenient locations for us), so will either use EoA or try to time a post-security/pre-flight interview for a trip next month.

Slightly off topic but just wondering... wife and I applied same day, did our interviews a few weeks later on the same day,got approved and both our cards arrived same day.
Her global entry expires a year before mine. Thoughts?

Your birthday had already taken place this year and hers had not... Believe you get 5 birthdays till it expires. Better to apply the day after a birthday than a few months before!

Doesn't the expiry date depend on when you were approved, not when you applied?

That should be "better schedule your enrollment interview for the day after your birthday."

Thanks to you both. The birthday reasoning was correct. I am am April and she is September, and our applications/interviews were July/August.

Question

I wonder if where you live matters. Because seeing how long it's been for some of you just to get conditional approval makes me feel lucky.
