Timballo Udine
We continued on to Udine. Before driving into town, we stopped at Timballo, the only gelateria in the area with Tre Coni in Gambero Rosso.
There was a wide selection and there were even seats available.
As expected, the gelato was very good.

Museo Diocesano e Gallerie del Tiepolo Udine
The first stop in Udine was the Diocesan Museum with the Tiepolo gallery. The former bishop's palace mainly houses sacred art, along with a few frescoes by Tiepolo.

At the entrance to the square stands the Fontana del Carrara.
The square is dominated on one side by the Loggia and Tempietto di San Giovanni.
Behind it is the castle.
On the other side is the Loggia del Lionello.
Statua della Giustizia del Paleario, Statue di Ercole e Caco, Colonna del Leone marciano and Monumento della pace.

Accademia Del Gelato Udine
Finally, we had some gelato. Accademia del Gelato has two cones in Gambero Rosso and is quite close to the cathedral.
A good selection.
The gelato was delicious; we were not disappointed.

Tartini Plaza Piran
First on the itinerary was Piran in Slovenia. Tiran Square is one of the most famous squares in the area, lined with a row of beautiful houses.
St. Peter's Church is also located on the square.

In the photos of the square, you could already see a church in the background, which is St. George's, dominating the city skyline.
