Thank you for putting in the time to write the TR, offerendum. I’ve just gone through the whole thing. Your DC section is particularly helpful as I am looking for things to do and places to stay in DC on my next trip.

Ba iad - lhr
The food on British Airways is always of varying quality. The menu didn't exactly blow me away.

Bites OK.

Salmon - also OK.

Roasted carrot soup - well, wasnt my idea

Halibut - eatable.

Cheese and White Chocolate chip bread pudding - OK

I've had worse food in heaven, but also better.
The crew was very friendly during the flight, no complaints there.
Breakfast!

Well, BA has never been particularly good at that. But that goes for almost all airlines.
I would have flown differently, but I'm not a pilot.

Concorde Room
Once we landed, it was the usual Heathrow chaos: you squeeze into a narrow train to the main terminal and then go through security again they regularly hand out dangerous items on planes, after all. But there is always the highly exclusive Concorde Room. We were actually just tired, but it was enough time for a quick lunch. The menu was familiar.

The lobster soup was good again,

the vegetarian burger was just okay.

LHR - Dus
Somehow the saddest thing of any long haul flight with BA is the business class flight from Heathrow back home. We were incredibly tired. After all, the plane was supposed to be relatively punctual.

In practice, we waited for ages in front of the gate until we could finally board. The overheads were of course all occupied, how could it be otherwise? I always wonder how someone is supposed to sit there when their hand luggage is stowed under the seat in front. As far as seat pitch is concerned, BA is once again the crapest of all the rubbish European fake business classes.

Farewell to Heathrow and England.

We weren't hungry. The food is usually fine, and that was also OK.

We are getting closer.

In the end......
That was the end of the trip. Overall, it was nice, even though I was a little disappointed with Bermuda in the end. But Washington and Philadelphia were as interesting as ever, and I'm glad I was able to fill in some gaps.
