How do you get dirty sticker marks off your passport?

I have wiped the back cover w vegatable oil a few times, rubbing it dry between coats. As I use a passport wallet, I'm protected from an oily shirt pocket... and it seems to have dissuaded a few sticker crazed security folks. They place it on my bp instead.

I'm a cheapskate, and I often found that a small amount of olive oil also works.
(Dab a bit on the folded corner of a paper towel)
Worked great on removing sticker residue from a metal credit card I received, just be conservative since a passport is much more porous.
