Landed first time at CRL airport a month ago and police immigration officer asked "how was the weather?"
Me thinking: where do I fly from today?
Filling in immigration card: your flight number......what flight am I on? where is my boarding pass?

I stay at a particular hotel in California very often (sometimes upwards of 3 nights a week). There are a few rooms I am fond of, and they know this and try to assign them to me. I had one of these particular rooms twice in the last few weeks, each the first night of three consecutive nights (I check out in the morning and return at night and am given a new room). On the second stay, both the second and third nights I tried to go to the first room multiple times, including after checking in and then after leaving the bar.

When you're looking at a National Geographic map cursing the fact that it doesn't include airport codes to facilitate your searches.
Although one might argue it means I don't travel enough, but honestly I was looking at random islands/more rural cities.
