Was it this guy?

He's a US Airways Chairman's.

Personally, I'd have no problem sitting next to the guy. That would likely mean I'd be seated in F! I am sure talking to him would be quite amusing.

Oh, and he is definitely not a drag queen. I believe he would be considered a cross dresser. Regardless, live and let live.

Look on FA's faces priceless

Disgusted that people in society judge others by appearance. And the FA was clearly inappropriate in their comments also.

It was inappropriate for the FA to discuss the passenger's status, EXP on AA, with another passenger.

I flew in F to and from ORD over the weekend.
On both flights the guys I sat next to were dressed in business attire, spoke loudly into their cell phones, were generally sour, and one smelled bad.
I actually feel relieved when I see offbeat-looking or non-frequent flyer types heading for the seat next to mine.

It was really unprofessional of the FA to make comments about a passenger to another passenger.

And kudos to the blue haired 70 year old gentleman who is still in shape and healthy enough to travel energetically on his own two legs.

Sheesh.

When the HS debaters came in and saw me there, almost to a person they rolled their eyes or silently sneered, believing me to just be some dumb student who wandered in...when time came to start and I sat up and asked everyone to write their names on the blackboard, and they realized I was the judge, the looks on their faces were priceless.

The OP is from NY so I am at a loss as to why he would have notice anything sounds like a typical day.

Sorry, but when I take my next flight it will be almost 12 hours, TLV-JFK, and as my Biz Elite seat becomes a lie-flat bed I intend to be comfortable enough to go to sleep for as long as possible.

To that end, I will be wearing a track suit (sweat pants and a sweat shirt) and I frankly do not care if I outrage some other passenger who happens to spot me when I am on my way to the lav.

I'm British so have quite a highly developed sense of irony and sarcasm, but I'm struggling here... ... are you talking about, woman? Is your favourite song Welcome to the Machine?

I was on a flight in February 2011, from jfk-lax, the temp was 20 degrees, one passenger's clothing caught my eye--he was wearing shorts, short sleeve shirt, NO coat--even if he took a taxi, he still had to be exposed to the elements. Wasn't he afraid of getting "frostbite".

20F is more than manageable in summer wear when you're used to the cold and is hardly frostbite weather. Try -31F.
