Phantom LH Availability

The *A award search is showing phantom LH F availability - same as the UA award search.

Yup, I got the same email as Clincher above. Correction came quickly too, but only after I had spent 15-20 minutes logging in on different browsers trying to find the "Upgrade" box.

Don't you think people should honor their "mistake offers"? :)

We note in the LH Award search "Some Lufthansa flights may show First class inventory not yet available to partners, please confirm with your airline"

No. Confirm it with ANA. Once you're scalping, why scalp from UA. Take it from NH.

I'm not sure if you were replying to me or to EF, but if I'm paying for this service, they should scrape NH to confirm availability for me. If not, this is almost the same as searching for awards on UA. I could go to NH myself and get correct availability -- something EF isn't providing (for LH at least)

Is it possible to see SQ "I" inventory (award business) with this change or will that always show no availability (a la ual.com)?

Was trying to spot check random routes with traditionally high "I" space availability (e.g., MNL, CGK) and nothing shows up on any day, even in mid-2013.

thx

Just recently realised (again...) that one can change POS to UK from US which is the default point of sale.

UK POS sometimes provides more information on flights - unlike US for some airlines UK distinguishes between booking class available for waitlisting (L, sometimes 0) and booking class totally closed (C).

It is also more creative on connections sometimes.

And of course for some airlines availability differs for US and UK markets (LH, LX for example), so checking both may help to find cheaper seats and then to go to appropriate website/ agent to buy (ie ***.com vs ***.co.uk).

This is the "Master Information and Updates Thread" -- can something so specific have its own thread and/or a helpdesk thread be created?

Many receive email notifications hoping they're about "Master Information and Updates", i.e. the title of the thread! Thx.

The recent posts asking general questions / questions that are not specific to "Master Information and Updates" have been moved off into a new "ExpertFlyer.com Help Desk" thread for ease of attention to queries about using ExpertFlyer as well as for members searching for specific information (or wanting to make more general inquiries that are not update-related) to find it (or answers to their questions) more easily.

At the request of ExpertFlyer Voice and other members, and hillrider's suggestion.
