I just signed up for a year's premium membership and am trying to get the hang of EF.

When searching for an award seat, is it available to filter the results to only show those flights with the required number of seats available?

Yes, there is a "Filter Search Results" link at the top of the results page.

Also, I can't create a flight alert for LH 648. Your system tells me that the flight details do not match any scheduled flight.

To create an alert for flights >330 days in the future, you must create the alert from the Flight Availability or Award search results page.

The flight is in 3 weeks.

I tried that before posting, but the filter did not give me that option. Can you post a screenshot?

Then the Flight Detail information (schedule) for the flight hasn't been properly published by the airline or what you entered is incorrect. Either way the previous alternative method is still advised.

Is expertflyer down? Seat map saved queries are working but none of my other saved queries for any airline are working: I keep getting a message that says "an unknown or unexpected error has occurred".

Anyone else having issues?

ExpertFlyerVoice?

We're not having any issues right now, you should try your search again and email us with specifics if you need further help.

I'm trying to book a flight AAA-XXX-BBB but AAA-XXX can only be purchased in a high fare bucket even though it has full availabiluty in all fare buckets. Based on the FAQ it seems that those discount fares are sold as part of other routes. Is there any way to know what those routes are?

I'd like to know if there is a connection YYY such that AAA-XXX-YYY-BBB would significantly decrease the fare. Does EF have any functionality for this or do I need to do this by trial and error (or am I missing something more obvious)? Thanks.

EF is showing some fare availabity on a Frontier (F9) flight I want. It is in R Booking Class. How can I actually book this fare class, it is not showing up on the Frontier site?

No, you can try various city pair fare searches to see what fare tariffs are published in a given market, but there is no way to search what you are asking with the airline reservation systems.

As was alluded to in the post before yours, fare class availability doesn't imply there is a valid fare to go with it. Please look at our EduGuide and FAQs for more information.

Since yesterday, I keep receiving alerts for flight LX 2086 on a certain date. When I check back on EF it says it is available, but when I call it is not. It is not either shown as available on ANX. What is the problem, if any?
