Skiva PowerFlow QuadFire http://www.amazon.com/Skiva-PowerFlo.../dp/B008R97TOQ has four ports but 20W max -- still a lot better than your garden variety 10W for four ports. Getting a four port 40W charger would be the bomb but I have my doubts on the feasibility / size.

To compare http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/5V-8A-8000...-/110838095930 this is how a 5V/8000mA adapter looks.

So presumably this will work 100-240v for use around the world?

Why does it say it won't work on Motorola Xoom and some Blackberries?

Do those devices not use USB or is this charger too much power for some older devices?

I wouldn't say older devices. Some just won't take the charge off of these. I've got a 2A charger that came with my Galaxy tab, its a usb style one so I can change the cords out as needed. It is by far the fastest to charge my cell phone on. My work phone (a Samsung GSII) will charge on it just fine, as did my old personal phone (an HTC Hero S), but I just got a new personal phone (Motorola Electrify M) and it won't take a charge off of it.
Shame really, because that charger took about an hour less than the standard ones to charge things up.

Conversely, my tab won't charge from less than a 2A charger.

Not for $5 each. Having one at work just to trickle charge is totally fine with me.

Maybe someone could help me out. I had a Skross dual USB travel adapter and it died (I think it died - won't charge my phone anymore. It's fashing the light signaling its overloaded but it worked just fine till a few days ago) which died 1 week after the warranty expired.
I'm looking for a replacement - something that has a USB but can also convert the plugs. I've found some cheap ones on amazon but I'm looking for something slim, yet possible enough to charge a tablet (my Transformer Prime) if there is something out there like that...

Has anyone found a car adapter with two USB ports, at least one of them 2 amps?

I have one of these: http://www.scosche.com/revolt-c2-dua...er-low-profile

Btw, I have a scoche revive II style charger http://www.scosche.com/chargers/revi...b-home-charger that sort of broke. It has a flip down prong, but something snapped while plugging it into a socket, and although it still charges, the prongs now has a "give" to them. I have decided not to use it because I'm afraid it might short out and cause a fire.

Odd. I rebooted the phone and it charges just fine now. I wonder if this has to do with the JB upgrade I did a few days ago...

I just found what I think is what most of us are looking for.

The Antec 4-25 http://store.antec.com/Product/power...0-5%20%20.aspx

It's 4 port, 2 2A and 2 1A, so 2 ipads and 2 iphones/smartphones. That combined with 4 retractable charging cables is my next move.

Just found the Ventev r2200 on Amazon, and it looks like something actually designed by and for a gear geek:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BSC7FW0/

Dual port, with 10W for EACH port (so you can charge two iPads simultaneously), AND it has flip out prongs for smooth packing (that can't be seen in the Amazon pic, but it can be confirmed on other sites). Outstanding build quality as well.
