Just found the Ventev r2200 on Amazon, and it looks like something actually designed by and for a gear geek:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BSC7FW0/ Dual port, with 10W for EACH port (so you can charge two iPads simultaneously), AND it has flip out prongs for smooth packing (that can't be seen in the Amazon pic, but it can be confirmed on other sites). Outstanding build quality as well. Review: http://appaddict.net/2013/04/29/the-...rettyPhoto/-1/ Photo: http://appaddict.net/wordpress/wp-co...charger_08.jpg |
The skiva and antec adapters charge up to 4 devices at a time [including two iPads simultanously], both for less than $30. Probably better buys than the two recent posts...POV.

Maybe the dual 2 amp ports.
But since Apple increased the wattage of their iPad charger, some third party should do the same? |
I think this one will meet your requirements. I can charge iPhone, iPad and kindle.

8 port 2.1A charger!
Sorry for reviving a idle thread, but Skiva is funding an 8 port 2.1A Charger on Kickstarter...

Nice!
Looks very interesting. This can be great when traveling with the family. |

http://s.jaf0.com/1c4NSjL I can charge an iPad and 2-3 phones on my Anker 25W unit, and it seems to be much more compact than the Skiva. The Skiva makes sense for multi-tablet family, though. I think it would be more attractive to travelers if they got rid of the little "roof" on the top of the unit. Looks like it adds another inch or so to the diameter. |
Came across this thing today whilst perusing the inter webs:
https://store.bgr.com/sales/kinkoo-6-port-usb-charger Input: AC 100-240V ~ 50-60Hz 1A Output: 5V / 8A overall / 2.4A max per port |

The Anker 6 port is 60W, and there are multiple 40W and 50W 6 port chargers on Amazon for as little as $17. |
I wonder when we'll see support for USB Type-C on chargers?
