I picked up a 32G one thru CL after all my attempts to source one at 99/149 failed.

I'm waiting for android ICS port - to start the webOS/Android conversion.

Just playing with WebOS 3.0.2 for the last few weeks. Seems to be pretty decent Tab, a bit heavy though.

Should I upgrade to WebOS 3.0.4?

It's a minor update on touch sensitivity, bluetooth and a new camera app.

Can't hurt...

You might consider adding the current CM7 Alpha3.5 now. The set-up is dual boot so you can access WebOS anytime.

The only other comment is the WebOS update. From what I remember reading, some people were having issues installing Android because of it. Not sure if it might also affect the ICS implementation.

Android 4.0 - Ice Cream Sandwich is out for HP Touchpad

Cyanogenmod has released Alpha 0 of Android 4 for the Touchpad. You can get it here:

http://rootzwiki.com/topic/15509-rel...od-9-touchpad/

Note: this is, apparently, pretty buggy, judging from the comments on Rootzwiki. Support for the camera and hardware-accelerated video doesn't work, which mean problems with Netflix, Hulu, Youtube, HBOonDemand and Skype video.

I'm going to wait for the next release -- I'm quite satisfied with Android 3.5 on my Touchpad.

Isn't it gingerbread 2.3? The CMod7 is Gingerbread.

honeycomb is only one 3.2ish (some have it) my acer tablet should have ICS soon, and touchpad has webos 3.0.5 and CMod7.

It was a reference to CM7 Alpha 3.5 for the Touchpad.

I like WebOS enough that I'll keep it...until CM9 goes beta. ;)

I find myself switching back and forth -- WebOS for Scrabble and movie viewing, CM7 for AndroidAlarm, CoolReader, Skype, and HBOGo.

I find WedOS's version of Skype to be pretty sufficient. Granted, I don't use it that often, but it works (as does the video chat).

I have 2 32G I'm about to wipe clean and put up on Ebay as both my wife and I were given Samung Galaxy 10.1s with 4G.

Both have Zapp's screen protectors, HP cases, and HP charging docks. I'd feel better selling them to someone from this community rather than a stranger on Ebay. Haven't thought about pricing yet.
