Haven't seen DriveSafely mentioned yet. Have a look at www.DriveSafe.ly
There is also a co-branded Motorola version called MotoSpeak that only works with Motorola bluetooth devices according to developer.
What it does - reads text messages to you over your bluetooth device and sends canned responses to the sender (you can modify the canned text)

Here is a great security app that keeps any of your Widgets, Apps, Shortcuts or Folders behind a unlock code or pattern.
Called Application Protection

I also have it set to
1) Automatically turn my WIFI on in locations where I know of a known WIFI hotspot
2) Change my phone's volume at night so emails and messages don't wake me up
3) Automatically turn on GPS only when maps applications are open (I don't want other apps using it to pinpoint my location)
4) Automatically prompt me to change my language input when I open a foreign language app
5) Turn off mobile data when I'm at home overnight (in case my WIFI connection dies or we lose power - too often - I don't want my phone using up my data plan when I'm sleeping)
6) Setup a widget to set my screen brightness according to my pre-set levels
7) Change the media volume based on the app that is open and whether or not my headphones are plugged in
8) Turn on desk clock automatically when docked

If it hasn't already been mentioned. Key Ring is another great app, . It keeps all of your membership numbers & bar codes in a easy to pull up local.
I don't know, but I'd bet Tasker will do the same thing.

Angry Birds, the #1 game in the iTunes store, just came out in beta on Android. It's scarily addictive.

Podtrapper is the only Droid App that I have paid for. It's a superb podcast client. Also available on Blackberry.

Angry Birds question
I don't know where to post this question so feel free to move it to the appropriate forum Mr/Ms moderator.
Where do you hit the pile of logs and ice to kill the pig in level 6? I'v been stuck here for days.
