Hi guys, I've asked Tech to take a look at Safari/Mac/iOS compatibility and stressed it's very high priority. I have no reason to believe that it's a content blocker, since we just use pop-ups to ask you to turn them off, not blank out your screen without telling you what's going on.
I am using ad-block with safari on my iMac and disabling/pausing ad-block allows the pages to load (and fwiw, without ads ) |

glad to hear this, but I'm experiencing the same thing on a MacBook using safari. if I 'reload without content blockers,' I get the page loaded, otherwise the entire site is blank.
while I'm at it, here's another voice saying 'the orange reply button is distracting and intrusive.' |

Agreed. That's how it looks to me, too.

Announcements are rare (though less so as we head into the holidays and have site updates) and are reserved for important things. Whether you personally find them important is of course YMMV. I know not everyone participates in Wharvey's Secret Santa, for instance.

Hadn’t considered the ones at the bottom. I was referring to the ones in each post. Quote and Quick Reply.
Regardless, the lack of consistency will be confusing also for new users and color challenged I would expect. |

Page loads and briefly shows the text but then blanks out to a white page.
Tried restarting Safari and rebooting 2017 iPad Pro 10.5 inch running iOS 12.4. i can load the same page okay on Duckduck Go browser on same device. |

Fwiw....
I am using ad-block with safari on my iMac and disabling/pausing ad-block allows the pages to load (and fwiw, without ads ) general observation for the web/UI developers -- PLEASE DON'T PRESUME EVERY FTer ON A MOBILE DEVICE IS A "POWER USER" ... some folks simply may not have the ability to get to a laptop/desktop, but prefer the familiar look and feel of that interface without having to take less-than-instinctive actions to specially configure FT on their mobile devices ********************* re the yellow "Announcement" bars: similar to the way the desktop version changes the font face from bold to regular when you view a page, would it be possible to remove the color after the user clicks on the announcement? that way only unread announcements would show in yellow ... that said, auto-expire of color after a week or so isn't a bad idea either |

Thanks IBJoel, didn’t even notice the red dots...
Distinguishing by font difference is still desirable. |
Can someone please provide me with a screenshot of the blank page you get on Safari/Mac?

"Reply" and "New Thread" buttons are now blue again (clear cache if still orange). and "Thread Closed" should appear red.
