Ah, I see what you mean.
I guess this is why it's called "style" -- not everyone has the same ideas about it.
We can't really make such a change as I am certain there are those who love it this way. Sorry.

Text hyperlinks should be clearly distinguishable from normal text.
The blue links delivered the longest visit duration, lowest bounce rate and the highest goal conversion.
Seems like Microsoft did a good job of subliminally training us over the years with the classic blue link color.
Seems like Microsoft did a good job of subliminally training us over the years with the classic blue link color.
So why has the blue underline proved so long-lived? A clue lies in the fact that, according to Jakob Nielsen, life is too short to click on things you do not understand. He is right; links have to be instantly recognizable as such to be usable. Simply put, links lack affordance. It is impossible to figure out their function from their appearance. You have to know through experience or learning. In this regard, the way they are visualized is vital to their success. The familiarity of blue underlined hyperlinks goes a long way to explaining its longevity as design element, despite being a relic from a simpler time. Nielsen, whose views on link visualization have evolved over the years, notes that consistency is the key to teaching users what link colours mean,. Blue has historically provided that consistency, cementing the psychological association of blue with clickability.

I agree that not everyone has the same ideas. But the consensus of web developers seems to be for doing it the opposite of the way you have done it, and instead for doing it the way I like.

Still not receiving e-mail notifications. It has had its intended purpose I suppose, as I now only check FT once a week (as I need to remember to load up "New Subscribed Threads" via the CP) as no longer use the site on a daily basis. Shame.

Suggest you change your email address on FT. Sometimes our emails get blocked and it can help to change to gmail.

We did some test e-mails, mail sent via the FT mail server all received no issues etc. Will change to GMail and use that as a workaround, not really ideal though as I don't use it.

You can set your gmail account to automatically send a copy of incoming emails to your normal email address - works for me as I don't really use gmail either!

What's with the fonts suddenly become large on any forum main page??? The thread titles now all have something like size 3 or 4 font.
I thought I might have magnified the page, but that wasn't the case! This seems to be the case on all forum main pages, for example, Air Canada, Starwood, etc.

Came on here to ask about the gigantazoid fonts, but I see I'm not alone.
Can this get fixed pretty soon please?

Can someone please get the intern who accidentally hit the "make thread title fonts to be humongous" button, to please undo it?
Is there a "make thread title fonts to be normal again" button?
