Same issue. I tried logging out and back in. Did not resolve it. Cleared cache, logged back in, did not resolve it.

Why are the margins so weird, there's so much white space off to the right side as well.

I love how I go from starting yesterday raving about Slack bringing threaded messages which were executed so beautifully to this.

I don't mind the bar at the bottom though; however it does occasionally glitch during scrolling.

Using Firefox on a Mac this feature seems to fill the Firefox back arrow list with a large number of instances of the "page" being viewed rendering the button useless.

I see it, as well. It's been reported and will be fixed.

Clicking "first unread post" in My FlyerTalk no longer brings me exactly to my first unread post. It brings me "near" it, but sometimes it's to the middle of a slightly older post or to the middle of a slightly newer post

When I clicked the new reply link, a reply box popped up but I wasn't able to enter anything in it...very annoying. :mad: Thanks for providing instructions to disable infinite scroll. I now have my quick reply box back and am happy again :)

Until I disabled, I was unable to access any of the forums. I got this error message:

The datastore cache may have been corrupted. Run Rebuild Bitfields from tools.php, which you can upload from the do_not_upload folder of the vBulletin package.

This literally just happened and was for a very short window while I was restarting caching systems on the site. This should be a non-issue at this time. Thank you for reporting.

Low Roller, what operating system are you running? And desktop or mobile? I was unable to find this error, but it may be device-dependent.

I'm too old to adapt to changes anyway, but I have to say that the presentation on iPad is NOT good. The contrast on the button
-bar at the bottom of the page is dreadful. Yes, I know this is a desktop version, but I detest [with a deep detest] the Mobile version.

Wow. I'm glad I found this thread quickly.
I've opted out of that annoying "infinite scroll". Pages flashing and jumping up/down, no ability to navigate thru large threads and the worst .... my "back" button doesn't work. After about 2 minutes on a thread, I can't "back" to the forum's index. My browser acts as if I've asked for the threads page dozens of times, so the only history I can go "back" is the very page I'm trying to get out of.

In the future, please don't make such large scales changes without a notification. I thought I was crazy trying to click to page 2, but getting the same page over and over. Perhaps a notification and go with an "opt-in" approach versus "opt-out" of something we didn't know happened.

Say I selected several posts using the multi-quote buttons. How do I actually reply and have those quoted? If I select the reply button on the floating toolbar -- that's actually a quick reply button and the multi-quotes don't appear. So how to I reply and get them to appear?

I've opted out in the settings and changed it on every thread. It still resets to FT Infinite Scroll on every page I visit. Help!

Never mind. I had gone into the settings and set the default skin to "vBulletin 3 FT Style 3.7.6 PL2" thinking this would fix it. I didn't see the disable Infinite Scroll checkbox. It's working now that I found it.

The style selector box at the bottom of the page should stick in that browser instance if you can find a way to do that.

I think that's what any user would expect.

That would also allow different styles in different browser instances without needing to change the user global settings.

I guess someone could not be content that the website worked with very few issues. So yesterday (Jan.18) I started noticing new and very annoying changes (I use the desktop version).
First, forum pages started loading slower, and reformat themselves several times before becoming stable enough to read.
Then there's a fat bar at the bottom taking much of the page's real estate. It also slides in/out repeatedly, which is rather distracting.
Clicking "View First Unread" button no longer gets you to the correct post.

Why on earth did you have to mess up the site? Let's cut the losses and return to the familiar version, when we could read and post without delays and distractions.

Yeah I've never been a fan of the infinite scroll myself, or like where'd the quick reply go? I mean I found it, but not before I wondered where it went

Yes, I do find it mind numbingly insular that people think "oh I have a great idea so let's make everyone have it, they'll love it too".

This is probably the worst implementation I have come across on this site to date. When I use the back-button on a thread (this is desktop or iPad viewing in normal style) it goes into an infinite loop and doesn't actually go back.

What ever is the purpose of this? If using on a tablet, it is completely superfluous. On a normal desktop with mouse it is largely useless.
