For a few days, the problem got worse and I had popup ads on almost every forum I visited. Today is the second day that I got no popup ads on any forum. Hooray!

I hope the lack of posts in this forum means that the problems had been solved. If so, thank you!

I'm getting this in random places, also on a MB but on Safari 8.0.8

The grayed out page with the tiny window and X, which I've only seen on the Chase forum has now spread to other forum pages.

Flyertalk now puts the most questionable places on the internet to shame. Anytime I load a thread it locks up my browser. This is on either my windows 7 or my windows 8 PC using either FF or Chrome. The only chance I have of loading a page is to disconnect my internet right when the text (Finally) finishes loading.

At least everyone wanting to horde the good deals to themselves will be happy!

I have Java set to "Ask me" before loading, and have a java killer that does not seem to be effective enough. I guess I'll have to look into something better.

Update: The first search result: "no script" seems to work great. All the ad bars and banners are now completely gone. While I'll admit I was probably unlikely to click on the banners anyways, doesn't the aggressive advertising hurt potential revenue for the site?
1. Reduced page views / new members from service issues.
2. Members seeing no ads because they have to block them all-together.

FT has been almost impossible the past couple of days. Multiple browsers on two computers - only IE on one of them seems to be mostly fully functional. In fact, it is killing every tab/window open, not just FT, as I see the the name of the ad script that is trying to load down below.

On a Mac, dont know how to do a printscreen, or even more how I would paste that in here, but text wise, here is the script error I am getting:

Script: https://pixel.adsafeprotected.…Id=12...66909732_1:234.

Started happening today at home, yesterday at work was fine, but that is a PC.

Command-shift-3 will take a screen shot and place a picture file (either a jpg or a png) on your desktop

Agreed, this is going to bring FlyerTalk down, ultimately. I can't view it on my phone anymore and the frustration makes me lose interest in viewing it anywhere. Why they continue to partner with such sketchy ad networks is beyond me. I've seen free porn sites that aren't nearly as bad...

Hard to pin down which ad is causing the problem. I sometimes have to wait a minute for a page to load while the icon spins (top left). I see a messaged bottom left that it is either waiting for an ad site or "processing request". This happens sometimes for a day or two then things are fine for a week. Then it starts again.

All you see are little messages on the bottom like this.

Doesn't seem like the owners use their own website.

Flyertalk is amazingly fast when Active Scripting is disabled.
