I had just done a search for a thread on this. Ironically it wouldn't open.

Loading on iPhone appears OK but not on Mac.

Yes had this too but appears to have resolved itself

Happened when I used 'open in a new tab' when opening an individual thread.

I had something similar happen to me at VIE airport. I couldn't load the SF website. I did think that they might have blocked it, but could that really be possible?

UKtravelbear Oct 29, 2015 3:04 pm

Just to clarify my issue was when I was at home so not an airport / airline causing it

This is a big problem - as the site is loading up video content now embedded. I found it was making my Safari browser fall over.

I actually dont mind Ads but increasingly websites are getting greedy, so its their own fault if they dont get the revenue from people like me.

Hi,

I just got a new pc ( Windows 10) and thought it was that which was causing FT to not load correctly. Takes about 2 attempts to load.

Regards

Can you post a screen shot? I have not seen this.

Also, what device and browser are you using?

I will try later. ...surfing FT on the down low at work. ;) It's a big vertical banner. Ugh.
Samsung note 3 phone and using Chrome.

Its still happening - but I think a mod will be along soon to sweep this away....as previously it has seemed that although it is something that impacts a good many of us, as it doesn't concern BA its not for this forum.

I had to refresh the page 13 times in order to post this comment - not an exaggeration, I was counting.

Flyertalk is basically unusable for me

PC, Internet Explorer 11, UK
I had to refresh 21 times in order to post this.
I posted in the BA forum a few minutes ago and it took 13 refreshes.
You've lost me until its sorted.
And one thing for sure - I will never purchase anything from Internet Brands Travel!!!
I also keep getting a message that the post s too short and that I need to use more than 5 characters

I sometimes find that the page loads up as a mobile version or else I get the spinning pizza wheel and have to reload the page...

I've also had the Internet Brands thing too...

ok I took a screen shot of the page but I don't know how to upload a photo here. It's on my phone and I could email it to my PC but I still don't know how to get it to you.

This master thread shows you how to do that on FT, step by step:

Good luck!

I have seen the same on two machines:
- PC with Linux, Firefox browser
- iPad with Safari

Both from UK.

Glad to hear it isn't just me. I thought it was my aging Mac so I tried my newer Air and still had the problem. I hope it gets fixed soon as it is very frustrating.
