The Game of War ad has been reported
|
Hope the problem gets worked out. Sounds like it isn't just W10.
Cheers. |
No game of war ad for a while, i'll let you know if it comes back tomorrow.

Oh dear another audio ad that you can't turn off - Dettol. I do find these kind of ads very intrusive.
I don't mind the ones so much that you can pause, but this one isn't clear where you can do this (if you can) and I don't want to click on it to find out. I'm in the UK. |

I find that the page not loading problem several of us reported above seems to have been fixed in the last 48 hours.
|
All this reporting of ads seems pointless, you block one ad after complaints and another bad one takes over
Then the process repeats itself. |

Can you take a screen shot of it so I can block?
I will pop back and post a screen shot if I come across it again. Thanks. |

I've been getting a lot of these in the past 2 or 3 days. Getting regular enough that my casual reading and contribution has stopped. I'm just keeping up with a few specific threads when / if I can get into them .
In UK, and affecting both Windows 10+IE11 and WinPhone 8.1. It's a really annoying ad. I get it also on Firefox. It stops the page from loading |
It appears that IB have no interest in actually sorting this out. If I were the cynical type, I might think that extra revenue from multiple views of different advertising might be the reason that IB can't be arsed to sort this out. Refreshed this page 10 times, the previous one also 10 times and the one before that 10 times. I get to see ads on about 60% of these and they are different most of the time.
Please sort it out. It's making the forum very frustrating to use. |
Our tech and ad-ops guys have been working on this. We thought we had it solved a couple of days ago. Apparently not. We will keep looking.
|
Our tech guys believe it was an issue with a particular network, which they turned off. Is anyone having the problem now?
