Could be, strange that it's worked fine for over a year until yesterday (with many different NordVPN IP addresses). I'm hoping someone from the FT Tech Team will chime in.

Yes, in my original post I wrote "I now need to deactivate NordVPN to be able to access FT" ... my issue is that I have been using a VPN for over a year with no problems accessing FT, and suddenly since yesterday I can't access the site with this same VPN. I'd like to understand why.

I'm having the same issue.
Blocking a known VPN IP address is not an effective security measure .. VPN use does not mean you're being hacked or attacked.
FT should reconfigure their cloudfare settings again.

I think this is the issue. In a lot of people's mnds VPN = criminal activity.

Whilst it might be assumed that this is some config change that cloudflare or IB have made to block NordVPN, but it could well be an IP address block on a wider range of IP addresses that has been involved in some inappropriate activity that has inadvertently included the NordVPN address range. Or something else entirely different.
As someone who has experience of IT Operations, and in support of IB techies, I cannot imagine they go around making random config changes and making configuration more complex than needed.
Having posted the rayIDs hopefully IB tech support can get to the bottom of this.
