LX First Class - differences between fare classes?
Where can I find descriptions, condition of individual tariffs, like costs of changing reservation by First Class with Swiss (LX), eg First Basic Plus - A, First - F etc.?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

Just do a dummy booking & click on the fare conditions but beware if you need to make changes they will claim there is no availability or try & upsell .. see other threads in this forum

Thanks, but I would like to avoid a dummy booking, because of:
>>>Your booking contains elements that prevent an automated rebooking. Please contact the Service Center<<<
Really strange that cannot find exact fare conditions on the Swiss website.
Btw has anyone tried to change a date of a booking in First Basic Plus - A fare and it was a surcharge?

Dont even think of booking on LX website, they dont even have F support, try LH.com tickets cost the same but at least you have access to the dedicated LH First Class hotline for problems or changes

I use expertflyer.com. You can find the fare rules, the number of seats in the different classes F and A (unfortunately not for O = Award).
The fare rules have all the information like if (free or charge) stopovers are allowed, if rebooking etc is allowed. I believe they have a free trial subscription.
This comes especially handy when you try to build an RTW or try to find some less expensive itinaries like Asia - Europe (stop on one or both directions) - America.
But be warned: lots of reading really boring text. BKK-NYC for example has 16 different fares for First. And each fare has many pages of rules.

Thanks.
Normally if you book a first class, you expect nice fare conditions, but seems to be not.
Some first class fares have rebooking, cancelation and price differences fees like in standard Economy tickets.

The cheaper first class fares are as restrictive as the cheaper C- or Y-class fares. The expensive F-, C-, Y-class fares are all highly flexible.
The advantage is that First Class ticket became cheaper over the years, although also more restrictive.
