I was speaking with the LH F hotline trying to get something fixed with an LX F ticket. They’ve done this before and since then, but in that case they suggested I call LX and gave me the number I PM’d you. This is that core customer number and they helped me.

This is literally in every single fare rules I've ever seen. It's meaningless. SHALL LIMIT THE NUMBER OF PASSENGERS CARRIED ON ANY ONE FLIGHT AT FARES GOVERNED BY THIS RULE AND SUCH FARES WILL NOT NECESSARILY BE AVAILABLE ON ALL FLIGHTS. THE NUMBER OF SEATS, WHICH THE CARRIER SHALL MAKE AVAILABLE ON A GIVEN FLIGHT, WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE CARRIERS BEST JUDGEMENT."
As chris63 says, Unfair Terms has caught many illegal clauses in contracts.

Vast swathes of airlines GCC are completely incompatible with statute, EC261, established legal precedent. It's really nuts how the industry operates. How did it get this way? Why are they such criminals? Can they not make money without being bent?

flying RSW-ORD-ZRH in F and wanted to inquire on different options
1) change to MIA/FLL via ORD
2) change MIA-ZRH
one agent wanted to route me via NYC. Not what I asked for
another agent said, I need to contact my travel agent (??? Swiss.com reservation)
a third agent asked me if I knew the airport code of Fort Lauderdale.
incompetent staff, besides terrible phone quality. To one agent I had to mention I simply do not understand her, and I had to hang up on her.
I then called the SEN line in Switzerland, took a while on hold, super quality and service, but am now leaving the flights as booked, as it would have cost 3000.- p/P plus being downgraded to C (full fare J only available) as F was full, too. This call cost me some 45 CHF…

Indeed & businesses don’t flourish by shafting their customers, pax buying flex & then finding out it’s anything but flex are not likely to buy again…

thanks, I had 3 terrible encounters with the toll-free number in the US. On all occasions (noon time and mid-afternoon) I seem to have reached the India hotline and not the office on Long Island.

Why should a flexible "F" ticket be more flexible than a flexible "Y" ticket, which is based on the same ticket rules?
Why should the F hotline be able to achieve more than the normal hotline handling Y passengers without any status?
Do these people believe because they are flying F, that they have more rights?

Some people don't get the difference between service class and ticket flexibility.

However the number you used + 41 848 583 000 is not the same as the core customer care number given to HON, which is + 41 44 564 1010
So, maybe you found the illusive LX F number but why it would be a mystery is a mystery, since they would just end a call with anyone not booked in First Class
