180 cm and side sleeper and I find the thrones perfectly comfortable. On a red-eye the even K (on the 333/343) might be just as good, if not better.

While not the best seats for tall single side sleeper flyers, I still prefer them to the couple seats on LX and LH. In fact, my only J-bookings on LHG would be using these seats as backup in case the upgrade to F fails.

I was somehow surprised, that during my booking to TLV I was able to secure a throne for free "only" as FTL. Different policy for TLV or extension also for FTLs?

Probably for TLV only.

TLV and I think CAI? They are the destinations which offer widebody service but no F, and the role of "premium seats for SEN and HON" is therefore taken by F seats.

If the flights dont go narrow-body, which is not rare, unfortunately.

Oh yes, during booking, they asked... 1300 CHF for this seat :/ Let's see in a few days how will it look during check-in.

Yeah, that's too bad. Otherwise ZRH-TLV would be ideal for QP chasing.

Given the current situation, I am not sure I would use the term "ideal".

Im a lowly United Silver, but with BA removing longhaul aircraft from TLV, I booked an upcoming flight on LX Business. I was able to book an XL/First seat at no charge on ZRH-TLV, which surprised me.
