Any feedback on the food in F HKG-ZRH? Currently booked on LH but can change to LX which I might do if the HK based 'celebrity chef' is any good?
Generally I find food in LX F to be better than LH F anyway...

when is your flight? I am on SIN-ZRH in F in two weeks and can post the menu. I guess the food is the same, except for the celebrity special.

To my view, the food does not match any "celebrity chef", or even a good restaurant, whether in C or F. I ate the Peninsula F dishes on BKK-ZRH a couple of weeks ago. Not bad, but street food in BKK was better.

It's not terribly recent but I posted some photos of the food on HKG-ZRH flight in F from April 2017. The food tasted better than it looks in the photo.

ZRH-NRT-ZRH First Class Nov 17 LX 160 and LX 161
Here's the menu from this week's ZRH-NRT-ZRH turns as well as the wine list and the month's cheese features.
The ZRH-NRT menu being the one with breakfast listed. Also note they served sushi on the ZRH-NRT flight that wasn't on the menu. Amazing service both routes, as always, and actually the 340 cabin wasn't too bad at all!
PS- sorry about the size of the attachments, couldn't seem to edit them down.

ZRH-ORD Jan 2018 C Menu
Just took LX ex-ZRH to ORD. Here is the menu in C for those interested. Canton of Wallis.
And pictures of appetizer (perch) and main(sole):
I did not take pictures of arrival meals. Was the option between coleslaw with roast beef or tortellini with fig. Served with the traditional cafeteria style poor fruit bowl.
I've flown LX J and F a few times. I have to say quality of service overall is going down. Appetizer and main were both VERY small, like baby portion small. I was still starving and had to eat 4 bread rolls to feel satisfied and I'm a small guy. Flavor was also not great, at least compared to what I was used to on LX. Fish was really smelly and the things around it (for both dishes) were completely flavorless. Even dessert was meh.
Have to love that they still use salt and pepper out of the packet....some plastic shakers are too expensive I guess. Also, before the meal during the drink service, we were given a ramekin of COLD nuts. I remember LX used to always serve some hot small snack like small savory strudels last time ex-ZRH to have with the drinks in C. Also the ice-cream movie snack never materialized. I did not ask for it, but the FA saw me awake the whole flight and offered drinks, but no ice cream. Quite disappointing overall.

You’re right. That’s a tiny meal. New BA CW food is miles better and it’s on their shortest East coast routes,
so no excuse for LX who are decimating their reputation with meals like that. I’ve had more substantial LX EU J meals, but hot meals are mostly cut back
now. Premium as always.
Looks quite crap to be honest.

My flight to Muscat back in October was pretty good, more than enough to eat and I didn’t need to ask for more, which I often do. I hope this isn’t a sudden new development and an indication of things to come.
