Do I understand correctly that there are vegetarian options catered for all business flights on transcons? We booked the veg special meals in economy for LX9 and it was horrendous, but it sounds like the regular veg meal on the menu is actually pretty good and always available? (We are returning on LX8 in business.)

LX 52 ZRH-BOS 1725-2005 A-340-300:
First menu I've seen without an alcohol list, that was pretty annoying
I think the scotch was a Chivas
Pretty tasteless meat tray
Really excellent chicken dish
The dessert was very good too. However, the promised mid-flight ice cream never materialized.
Really disappointing second meal. The fruit cup especially felt cafeteria style.

Does anyone know whether the caviar tasting in May will be in the first half or the second half of the month? Trying to decide whether to book LH or LX F for travel in the second half of May. I might still book LX anyway, but I definitely will if I can do the caviar tasting then!
