Agree. Two weeks ago on my way to SIN, the (senior) FA in F told us the caviar tasting last may did not receive a very positive feedback from the customers and that while caviar is a signature dish in F at LH and many other airlines, LX does not think that it is worth it.
So I doubt that it will be back.

Does anyone have current menus for LHR-DXB, I'm booked in Business but would consider upgrading if the F menu is much better... So both are of interest.

LX781 BRU-ZRH 06/27/17 C class
Pretty creative, methinks, for a ~50 minute CS100 flight:
- a small quiche;
- a small crab salad;
- a small berry panna cotta;

How does the food service in C-class work on the ZRH-MCT flight? There is a stop in DXB on the way, I believe, so is a second, smaller meal served on the DXB-MCT leg? And does one have to exit the aircraft in DXB, the reboard?
Incidentally, as a side note, I notice that DXB-MCT and vv can be sold separately, as a 5th Freedom, and the prices are pretty interesting - much less than Emirates or Etihad, or even Flydubai.

F ZRH-ORD Aug 17
Just flew F ZRH-ORD on the B777 the other day. For those interested here is the menu and pictures. I ate separately from the rest of the cabin because I wanted to rest for a few hours after boarding. Everything was excellent, but the main course. FA told me they ran out of fish (my first choice) and veal. So I went for the vegetarian option which was horrid, hence no pic. Returned it after two bites.
Arrival meal was a choice of a salad with some fish, a cheese quiche and a sandwich with corned beef I think. Went for the quiche, really good.
Bonus pic of eggs benedict from the lounge in ZRH, was excellent.

Anyone any idea what the next SWISS Taste of Switzerland theme will be? I bet 10,000 miles it will be canton Geneva. Each and every time I have made a premium flight, it has been Geneva, every time without fail. And it's not been that amazing. I would love to have tried canton Obwalden.
