I had one of these straggler offers myself (25% off a points stay), completed requirements a little while back, no dice still. I will give it a bit. Looks like SPG would be better off sticking to full promos than trying to do a lot of targeted stuff which just seems like it would be harder to get to work smoothly and certainly was this time.

Both Lurker and Customer Service confirmed I did meet the requirement for the free night. Customer Service said "I takes anywhere from 2-4 weeks after the eligible stay posts to your SPG account for the Free Night Award to get posted to your account. It has been just four weeks today, so I would give it another five days. " (bolding is mine). It is sort of annoying to have to wait over 4 weeks since we only have until December 31st to use it.
Is no one else having this problem or no one else is lucky enough to get this offer?

for my recent holiday 2 x 6000 points for select 6000 points for 6 stays target promo (max was 18000 points) 11 x 1000 points for the weekend stay promo and 3 free Sheraton weekend nights. This is way better than any promos for double or triple points that Ive had before. For all the grumbling here about poor promotions Im very happy!

Any new promotions coming out? Or are we stuck with the make it count and Sheraton promos? The latter being useless to me as my work travel won't have me past a Sheraton for a while.

Quite satisfied with the targeted 6x1000 promo (gained 12k points)
Still have to make 4 stays till max 18k points, but unfortunately in Aug i dont see any future plans of traveling near a Starwood property.
It is sad that tomorrow i'll be going to LBN where there was a Sheraton 5-6 years back, but now it has become a Dorsett Grand :/

I just stayed my first free night (of the three free night awards by staying 5/1 to 7/31, redeem before 11/30), at the Westin Book Cadillac in downtown Detroit. What was interesting is that in the first folio I received it listed a $65 charge for the room, and when I checked this at the FD they dismissed it as something internal, and that the final folio would not have this (it indeed didn't). Does the hotel charge $65 to Starwood corporate for my free award night?
