I tried calling SPG regarding the free night as I received the email with a code and wanted to check future dates. They do not seem to be aware of the terms of this contest as I was told the night had to be used by September 30, 2014 which would be impossible for us.

Is anyone aware of the termination date of this night? Thanks for your help.

It is good through March 31, 2015, so it would have to be booked and used by that date.

I had the same issue, once I got the email I tried to call the number listed on it with the offer code, no one knew what i was talking about and I was even told to print out the email and bring it with me to the hotel when I checked in. A few days later the free night showed up in my awards on the SPG website and it was easy to book the room with it.

I am left wondering why, given the rumpus over non-specified expiration dates in other recent promotions, this date isn't written in the T&Cs.

Could you have played after midnight (NYC time I would assume is what SPG uses for this) so that trying again this morning would technically be twice in one day?

Ditto here, working fine previous days and today:

"Sorry, you are not eligible to play the Tap Into Luxury online game. Please see terms and conditions."

So it seems broken.
