Aargh. Downloaded an update on my iPhone on Jan 20, so naturally can no longer open the app!
No update on iPad so that works fine.

Thanks all for this thread. Logging out and back in worked for me to fix the problem of points not updating. Also had the same problem of it linking to the wrong reservation, not sure if thats fixed yet. I think my Lifetime nights has updated correctly.

SPG iOS App glitch cancelled wrong reservation
I just tried to cancel a reservation on my SPG iOS app, and instead of cancelling the right reservation, it cancelled my earliest reservation with SPG.
I called customer service as soon as I received the cancellation email, and they said they won't be able to reinstate the reservation and it will be at the current rate. The rate went up $250 per night...
I hope hoping the hotel will be willing to reinstate the original reservation.

Are you in contact with the hotel regarding this matter?
If you would like us to check with the hotel team, do send us a PM or email us at the address below with your reservation details.

I've had many, many glitches in the iOS app over the past month or so. It's gone wonky.
Most recently, when I would go into the app to see any of my upcoming reservations, details of only one reservation would appear ... the same reservation, regardless of which of my upcoming stays I clicked on.
I have an Apple Watch, too. SPG on the Watch isn't just wonky, it's totally non-functioning.
Something has gone terribly wrong!

Here is an update.
With the help of the Starwood Lurkers, the hotel was willing to reinstate the original reservation at the original rate!
So glad to have the lurkers team here for their great customer service

I have the app on my iPad, but it's rarely accurate. Today it shows zero upcoming stays (I have three) and the point balance is different than the website. It's sort of handy, but I don't trust it.

This is so annoying that I've start wondering if M____ is doing something to "motivate" members to book their hotels instead of SPG hotels.... But in fact they only move me to book another program's hotel...

Same. It also shows about ten entries for stay points per property and did not pull up this week's stay; I had a minor panic as I was leaving the airport on Sunday thinking "Omigosh, did I book a Hilton or a Marriott?" but neither of those apps showed anything. I ended up calling the property who confirmed that yes I have a five-night stay. Sheesh.
