Made Platinum on stays in Oct and just left the W Union Square in NYC after 3 nights earlier this week which leaves me at an even 50 nights for the year. Got the SNA email the next day.
I was impressed with my upgrades as a Gold - if Platinum is much better, then what a bonus.

Hit platinum at the Sheraton in Dallas in December. Was on a business trip, needed 3 more nights, bought two rooms @ 4k points each thinking it was my last SPG trip of the year.
Ended up with two more SPG stays due to last minute business trips, so ended up losing a few k points on the MR, but still very happy to enjoy my first year as a SPG plat member

Was a challenged Plat, but after next week I will be a Plat50, looking forward to the SNAs (I think)

Just re-qualified (only my second year) with my 25th stay, with 46 nights. Doesn't look I'll make it to 50. tls

Just hit 25 stays. Would have been much more this year but several medical issues caused me to cancel some trips.

Ended the year with 76 stays, 245 nights. Few complaints - SPG continues to be the best loyalty program out there, IMO.

ok, at least I'll enjoy an upgrade or two in January. Stupid Austin Aloft always being booked when I go there!
