Plat 50 earlier in the year for the second year in a row.
Plat 75 sometime last month. 4x pts is awesome.
Sitting at 88 right now with travel planned through end of year.
Should easily get to Plat100, but extra benefit doesn't seem to count for much. In fact, I haven't seen being Platinum, 50, or 75 be differentiated in any way at any hotel I've stayed at in the US. Internationally it seems to pay off being Platinum.

Won't be qualifying this year, as the Sheraton Salt Lake City is truly awful. Too bad there are no other options in this city for SPG. The Marriott City Center is so much better that I am willing to let go Platinum status AND pay more than double per night. What a shame

Currently at 26 stays and 39 nights. Have 3 more stays for 5 nights total planned for the rest of the year. That'll put me six nights away from 50.
Worth it to try to stretch to 50? I could probably do it.

I should know the answer to this but...Award/Points+Cash stays count toward the 50 nights for Plat50, right?

Just made 50 nights with 22 stays.
I have 2 unused SNAs for 2014. Would not have anymore stays for 2014.

I had to spend a few weeks at a Marriott earlier this year so it's looking like I'll end up at 48 nights with planned trips. Planning to take Mrs. Lee somewhere for a weekend just to get the SNAs.

i have 22 stays and 50 nights so far with another 2-4 nights more this year. All leisure. I don't travel for work (thank god).
On that note, I have about 6 (?i think) SNAs remaining for this year. I would say my upgrade rate is almost 100% For some reason, even if I do try to use my SNA it is usually rejected but somehow i end up with the requested suite or better. Not complaining but just pointing out my SNAs this year have been very miss although I still get upgraded. ^^^^

Sitting at 82 nights as of now, looking for the perfect 100 until EoY. Too bad all I've read about Ambassador are complaints of "not enough" or "not as advertised".

This will be my first time making Platinum. 46 nights so far with 5 more booked. I hope it's worth it. I've been reading some of these posts and not everyone feels it is. Guess I'll find out for myself. But I do appreciate the information I've found in here. Thanks.
