Lurkers, question for you.
I have 4 SNA's remaining from 2013 and 10 SNA's remaining from 2014.
I have a reservation that has 2 nights in 2014 (Dec 30/31) and the final night in 2015 (Jan 1). The system has pulled all 2 SNA's from my 2014 batch (leaving me with 4 SNA's from 2013 and 7 from 2014). Shouldn't it pull 2 from the 2013 batch and only 1 from the 2014 batch?
I checked with my Ambassador and he said no. But I don't trust him since he's been wrong about things in the past. Can you confirm which SNA's should be pulled?

It is confirmed that SPG will not be extending SNA expiration this year, but we are continuing to work on benefit enhancements for Platinum 50 members in 2015.

It would have been such a wonderful christmas present from SPG if they were to extend the SNA's expiration date. Like many others here, I will most likely loose 4 or 5 of them. I have applied them on a holiday stay at W Fort Lauderdale, but the hotel is close to sold out (as expected), so I am not holding my breath. (When I applied them 9 months ago or so, all suite categories were wide open - confirmed SNAs at time of booking, THAT would be a great enhancement.)

Thank you. This thread is very long and and I was unable to find the "many times" due to the search functionality on this website leaving much to be desired. Appreciate your explanation - it's a help.

RIP 6 SNAs.
Luckily I just hit lifetime platinum, so for all practical purposes, my benefits will be the same whether or not I hit 50 nights.

Anyone familiar with British Airways over the last 10 years will equate "enhancements" with taking someone nice away, but I feel SPG normally goes in the other direction.

I was nervous about my SNAs clearing but all 7 I requested ( 2 at St Regis Rome & 5 at St Regis Florence) came through. Great rooms- especially in Florence -an amazing suite with a balcony over the Arno. It seems as if European trips might have better odds of success.

Well, I was 3/5 in SNA stay requests this year, so able to stay in a suite 5 nights out of the requested 12 nights. Outside of the SNA successes, I never received a suite upgrade in about 15 other stays, most of which were 1 or 2 nights. Kind of feels like being a lower-tier elite on Delta or United. Lesson learned: Make more SNA requests!

Have an upcoming stay and it seems that I can't request SNA's on the reservation. It is a BRG reservation, so I have contacted the BRG team and awaiting their response. But as per my experience, this will not work.

Use the "send confirmation" trick. Reload the page thereafter, and voilą.

There might also be issues with reservations for 2015 that were made before you had SNAs for 2015 in your account.

Had a similar case last year, couldnt apply them on a booking, because of the same conditions.
