I've seen this error too -- once I got the error two times and was about to ask for help via Twitter (just as effective as calling them with Southwest, for me) when the third time it just randomly worked.

Ah that would explain it, I was on my laptop.

The flights I have booked in Feb showed the red banner all last week and now all of a sudden they don't. I am good with these dates/times for now so I don't need to change, but who knows what the future holds. Do we know if this feature gets turned on/off under certain circumstances or is it seemingly random?

Got it, thanks. I also should've mentioned above I'm trying to help some family members with some bookings but they never fly so I don't want to have them stuck with a ticket for a Tuesday 6am flight that they'll never use. I guess I could create a dummy booking real quick then cancel it....

Yeah I wait for the banner on my flights, book new flights make sure I can move then cx old flight. You could do that with a dummy points booking to make sure its all going to work. Just be careful with timing, I was moving all my flight one night at like 11pm MST and it stopped working all of sudden, so I am not sure if that was just a glitch or just bad timing on my part.

Given way Boeing (BA) stock is flying ( no pun intended) I would guess the Max is getting approved to fly in the near future.

This was great while it lasted.

Is this still live, or is it dead now?

Looks to be dead for me at least. I just tried a dummy booking and don't see the red banner.

Live now from mid-January (at least 1/13, maybe earlier) through exactly 2/10.

And, just so you know, it will remain available for a long long time. The option is scheduled to go away 1 minute before you opt to change it.

Just the way it is. Murphy lives!
