Just confirmed the earliest date it will allow changes for is 2/7. Nothing has red banners prior to 2/7 now, I checked 2/6. So currently the window is 2/7 - 4/11.

Anyone think they will open up December or January again?

Generally, I'm very impressed at how flexible WN has been after schedule changes or at least that remains my consistent experience with them

Was able to move some Jan flights, looked on Feb 28th flights and no banner so not sure if some Feb is avail.

All my Jan 4 to Feb 3 flights are movable. My flight on Jan 3 is not. So looks like only a January window and the first few days in Februrary.
Weird thing is that I have a flight to Mexico in November that can be moved, but not the return flight

12/17 is the beginning of the window, and it can go at least, as reported here, to 3/3.

Changed a 2/3 outbound and 2/6 inbound to later in Feb, no issues.

Didn't see any red banners though, but was still able to change the flights for free. What does the red banner signify?

I see "red banner" on my flight. When I change flight and select "AVAILABLE" fare, I consistently receive error on final step. BTW I booked this flight with points. Any ideas how to avoid error?

The red banner is only available on the app (IOs/Apple) for me and also on the Android version. If you go through the website, there is no indication that there are complimentary changes available, unless you click on "Change Flight" on each reservation until you find out via a big square screen allowing you and giving you the instructions.

I have seen this once or twice. It's some sort of defect in the reservation. You won't ever be able to get a free change online. When this happens you have to call Southwest to get the free change.
