I have been missing the window for last couple months. Given that the Thanksgiving weekend flights are super-expensive, I want to make sure I am closely watching over WN's shoulder when the change window for November opens.

Looks like WN updated its system to now not allow free changes immediately after buying the ticket. I bought a ticket for a day before my other ticket that can be changed as of now, and did not immediately recognized it. So I will now wait until it runs a week and then see if it is allowed to change it. Travel is for the first week of October.

At this point, looks like WN stop doing its weekly window of free changes. Been waiting too to move one trip from October to November, but looks like that might not be happening this week.
Hope the 737MAX re insertion into the fleet brings us a new and extended window of free changes to flights.

Check out the differences between 03Nov (real) and 04Nov (hopeful, but not real). Maybe they're waiting for clarity on CARES act extension?

I think they will have to roll out their post-03Nov schedule changes fairly soon. Right now they are publishing a very robust schedule that is unlikely to be flown, unfortunately.

Can confirm I have flights till Nov 1st that don't have free changes but a flight on Nov 6 can be.
Has it always been a window like this in the past? If not I wonder if it's because they had a sale on point redemption for October flights (yes I had speculative bookings hoping for this loophole ...)

My 11/10 and 11/17 flights are allowing free changes. I received an email notification today that the 11/10 flight was changed to a later flight (now connecting), but no notice received or apparent changes showing online for the 11/17 flight.
