Apologies if this is already answered. Search turned up nothing.
What is Sixt's policy in the US (Georgia) for spouses as additional drivers? Is it akin to National where they are covered with no registration required? Full registration needed? Something else? |
Is it common that stations have other types of cars available that is not shown on the website?.
For example, i hade to contact the station in order to get the information that they also offer a BMW X6 M50d. (wich for me was almost exactly the type of car i was looking for..i like HP:D so this was the closest i could get) They have the regular X6 in the fleet guide but i certinly do not expect to get a M50d when choosing a "standard" X6. (even if the M50d is booked in the same car class, it´s a little bit more expensive then regular) Are the relying on people asking something extra or why do they keep these cars "secret"? |

Hello everyone !
First post in the forum ! I am from Pennsylvania and have done a rental reservation(MIA) from sixt.co.uk. Is the reservation valid ? Since I am a US customer, would I face any issue when I show up at the rental center ? Thanks , San |
Sixt - Any Questions?
Hi,
I used .com .and co.uk and .de for rentals in Germany and the U.S. ( .de has a carefree US Gold rate sometimes .co.uk has cheaper rates than .com etc) and nothing was ever mentioned to me while picking up the car. |

Hi there,
I am hoping someone maybe able to shed some light on something for me please. Back on the 26th June, I attempted to make a booking for a Corvette at LAX in September through the UK website. I was told that in two working days someone from the local branch would be in touch as the model was a 'upon request' booking. A couple of days ago I still hadn't heard back and so called LAX who advised someone would be emailing me. Its now nearly a week since my initial submission and I still have not heard back from Sixt. Has anyone else made a similar booking as I am assuming that the lack of response means the cars is not available. Many thanks. |

Hi,
I rented IDAR car in Barcelona from 10.06 till19.06. I returned car and it was checked, Sixt representative said that everything is ok and i left my signature on tablet. It was prepaid rental, my contract shows payable amount of 107.92 EUR(for excess 0). On 24.06 i have been charged for 190.27 EUR(82.35 EUR more). I still don't have invoice or checkin report in my email(usually i have, i think you should send invoice when you charge card). I am wondering for what i have been charged 82.35 EUR more? I was late(~1h) returning car, but there is no information about late fees, not on website(under Spain T&C), not on contract. I don't see any other reasons to be charged, even that is little bit ridiculous, because no information when it is considered as +1 day. |

Which car do you suggest to me? We are 3 adults with 3 medium Luggages. Is it possible to exchange the car since i get back to Germany? I`ll need the ca till August 29. Thanks |

Which is correct - Rental location ATL airport ( Georgia ). The Sixt customer rep said you can only travel in GA with the car.
