SQ 21 was canceled for tonight so now I'm on SQ25 in business. Can anyone give me any selling points to make this a good change? I was told the upper deck is sold out - at least I don't have a middle seat.

JFK

Well, I'll reply to my own post before I go board. Haven't been to JFK in a long time. Cool to see the melting pot and airlines of the world. Never thought I'd see a kuwait air bird. Can't believe the size of the Lingus plane below me. Oh and the Swiss Air lounge blows oasis outa of at the water (although an lx flight appeared to leave right after I got there).

What does that mean when the inventory changes? Does that mean the new aircraft will debut on January 15th?

All signs point to that.

I was poking around on the SQ website the other day and saw save avail after Jan. 15th. I'm still hoping they swap an A380 on before the end of the year so my F ticket on the 26th becomes R class.

Chances of that happening is pretty much 0%.

The SQ A380 will take center stage Jan 16 at JFK........ The SQ 747-400 will go for one final perforamance on JAN 15 and it will take a bow .

Maybe SQ 26 will be delayed on JAN 15 to FRA and the two will overlap on the ground

I flying on Jan 12 on SQ 25

Trying to get on the same flight with you, perhaps in conjunction w/ SIN DO. I'll post if I am successful.

What happened to those who had been ticketed on the 744 in first class? Were they moved up to suites, or down to business?

Those who booked when it was still scheduled as a 744 have historically been "grandfathered" in First and accommodated in Suites.

Staying on the plane in FRA

Is staying on the plane even an option?
It doesn't seem worth the hassle of disembarking, clearing customs, and then going thru the reboarding process. Alternatively can I leave my carry on on the plane? (assume no valuables).
thanks!

Not an option. You must deplane with all carry-on baggage. You re-clear security, not EU immigration.
