I've just checked out history of SQ237 and I'm so disappointed to find out that such long flight happens to be operated by machine with regional J (for example, the flight on 9th of October was operated by 9V-SYI), so without flat bed .
It would be disaster for me! I was so happy when I managed to redeem my miles for award flight in long haul SQ J class. If my flight really turns out to be in non flat bad configuration, I'll be sooooo sad...

The route should get back its 77W (2006 J) by the time you fly. Fingers crossed?

Partially a lack of aircraft causing a loss of slack in the fleet.
BNE is an even longer route and it has been only regional J for a long time.

Taking recommendations for couples seating on the 77WN. Is there a preference on Row 1 v. Row 2? Equal space? I assume Row 2 may be slightly quieter away from gallery but that's not a big deal to us. Is there a difference in the amount of space in each row?

Definitely go with row 2. There is no difference in space but as you noted, it is further from the galley. It is also more private as there is no one behind you. You see row 1 but they don't see you unless they are returning from the lav.

There is a difference in space:

Row 2 doesn't have this intrusion and better for sleeping.

hi folks - does anyone know what SQ241 and SQ211 are using? Flights are SIN-SYD, leaving approx. 2 hours apart, and trying to figure out which one would be the more preferable.
if anyone knows the food menus too that would be great (i.e. are both breakfast and lunch, or is one lunch and a light snack?)
(oh and both are showing 8 seats on EF)

All SQ211 flights are on the Boeing 777-300ER with 2006 F seats.
All SQ241 flights are on the Boeing 777-300 with 2006 F seats.
Thus, the seat and configuration will be exactly the same on both flights. For me, it would only come down to preferred departure/arrival/meal eating time.
