SQ 15 New Biz?

flying SQ15 SFO-SIN on 3/31, is this the new biz? If I see PEY on the seatmap does that indicate New Biz?

Sorry if this was already covered!

It has been covered, but, yes -- all rotations for SQ16/15 are now performed by 77WR aircraft: new J seats and PEY.

How do you draw this conclusion, as A330 operates 207/8 which are not mentioned? Or is there other info around that suggests it will change to a different aircraft type?

Mind you it is the one rotation on SIN/MEL that does not include an overnight sector in either direction, and I find that it's OK in business for that reason. Hate it in economy though - so hope they do change it.

777 in a couple of months with a 1-2-1 config.

Permanent change? Has been back and forth between 777-200er and 330 for some time depending on time of year. I've had both on 208 in the last 6 months.

I talked to SQ, and if you begin reservation process for flights in the 4th quarter of 2016, the A330 is not on the MEL service

And this 772J comes off the SQ241/2 service between SIN and SYD, which gets an upgauge (or downgauge) to a B773A on that very date.

Hello all,

I am looking to book my mother in law a flight on Singapore airlines this September (either 09/16 or 09/17). Do the HKG->SFO routes have the new first class product?

Thanks for any information!

And at some point around october, another rotation will be on a 77W without F (seasonally for now)... That means no daytime flights SIN-MEL at that time...

Edit: seatmap still shows F on 217 but reservations are closed on all days in early october... Probably planning to switch AC...

Ok, so I've read then entire thread and am still confused. I'm flying SQ 61 in mid Nov and in theory all the retrofitting should be done by then right? The seat map has 8F and the mini cabin in J. But I'm confused, does the new plane only have 4 F seats or did the config stay the same? Basically do I get new seats?

No guarantee at the moment that you will. Don't expect it.

I can confirm AKL-SIN is being operated with the new products onboard. The aircraft was 9V-SWK.

This was my first time on SQ and the experience lived up to my high expectations. Service was polished with attention to detail. The seat was terrific (11K) even if I only experienced the bed for about 15 minutes. The food was good with great presentation, but I thought it was on the bland side. A Thai curry and Kung Pao chicken should burst with flavors. Not so much out of AKL apparently. The new KrisWorld was a bit glitchy for me, but the picture quality and selection top notch. Overall, a great SQ experience. Can't wait for the next opportunity!
