how about on the IFE front? bigger and clearer screen? on the recharging front? more outlets at convenient places? on cosmetic front? the new airplane smell? even on the seat itself? there are certain brands of new seats (even slimline version) that are being given high regard.

i predict CSAT score will be much higher on the retrofit plane compared to before.

My understanding is they are.

It doesn't change my personal preference (I avoid, upgrade, or purchase PE/J), but the general public likes shiny new things.

About those screens .... about a month ago flew B738, and NO screens in FC (didn't peek behind the curtain). And ya, that flight where I scored an u/g as Gold is off schedule now So next time I am set to arrive AFTER my connection is scheduled to leave

Since I usually fly in coach, IIRC they still have power only in E+ and NO USB ports on narrowbody fleet

Did fly AA and AS, and that is a different story ...... but this is the UA frorum.

See this Google Docs worksheet.

As of today it looks like there are still four more 2-4-2 IPTE 777s to go in for Polarization.

I wonder, though, what is the timetable for the four IPTE 777s "rumered" to be converted to domestic configuration? When will they be converted? i.e. At what point will they no longer be available to swap with a Polaris 777?

UA's B752 has screens. it will only be bigger after the retrofit.

Maybe when 77W 2149, 2150, 2151, 2152 delivered ?

Isnt 2149 and 2150 suppose to deliver in the next month or two, while 2151 and 2152 come next year ?

N881UA, Ex CZ B-2297 entered XMN Storage/Induction 2715/22Sep.
Now 5 in XMN. First one, N876UA took about 10 weeks - unknown if 5 currently in XMN will take less or more time due to number of units being Inducted. N877UA should be next out and has been in XMN just over 10 weeks.

752:
Her Art Here paint may indicate PW752s might not stay in the fleet long or don't need paint. For what its worth a high percentage of RR752s operate from EWR on TATL or Transcon flights. No way will UA rope this aircraft into Transcon only.

My records show 2 PW 752s were repainted in 2018, 2 definitely painted in 2012 and no records on the others, so they have older paint. Note, 6 PW752s are 1997/98 build while the other 8 are 1989/93 build (only one of the earlier 8 are ETOPS, but UA doesn't use any PW752s TATL or Hawaii at this point)
