My preferred method would be to book the reservation under your name as usual. Then call/email concierge to change name to your wifes and the concierge can add GOH in the same request.

For me a return trip to Il Tornabuoni in Florence. Hard to beat the location and boutique feel. SUA is very useful too.
I fully expect this one to be at Top category permanently outside of winter.

This hotel and I believe the HC nearby are owned by the same group. They definitely play games with availability in the spring and summer. I think the HR also has availability issues.
