I have iOS 18.1.
Starting today, the Hyatt app started saying I need to update the app in order to use it. Then I go to update it, and I get a message saying I need to update to at least iOS 18.4 or higher.
I go to update, but the only available update is iOS 26 which I don�t want. I heard it�s a bulky OS that drains battery.
what is my recourse? No more hyatt app until Apple re-releases 18.7 as beta? (Would they even do that?)
I don�t see iOS 26 becoming lighter with its future versions.

Have you tried iOS18.7.6, which released at Mar4. If it still doesn't work, then Hyatt doesn't support iOS18 anymore.

Doing some more search, this version exclusively for iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR, and not sure is it only for Australia users. Also, not sure what your device is, sorry for the wrong information before confirming it.

I have IPhone 13, and it looks like Apple is trying to stuff iOS 26 down our throat. I hope they change their mind and bring back 18.7 as beta.

It seems Apple put back the IOS 18.7.7 upgrade!
If you're in my shoes, stuck in an earlier 18 and hence unable to use the new Hyatt app (requires 18.4 or higher), but not wanting to go to IOS 26, this is your chance.
Not sure how long they will keep it available.

Off-topic for this thread. I understand that Apple made 18.7.7 available because of the DarkSword exploit. Anyone who uses an iPhone (or iPad) for web browsing should upgrade to 18.7.7 (or 26, or use Lockdown Mode).

I recently had to cancel and rebook a trip with multiple reservations. One room was corp rate + SUA. The other room was split in two reservations, Cat7+ 2nights on corp rate.
Some time after cancelling I noticed my points balance was higher than I remember and expected.
I just did the math, using an email from Hyatt on April 2nd that included my then current balance and adding the points earned on a stay ending April 5th, my current balance is exactly 36k points higher than expected.
I have not recently cancelled other stays that would generate 36k pts (would need to be 2x18k, 3x12k etc).

I also have an extra SUA that was somehow generated when my concierge manually applied an SUA to a pay my way stay (mix of pts and cash nights).

Anyone else experienced this before?

I haven't tried the website but the app is returning zero availability at all Hyatt hotels in multiple cities in Asia Pacific on multiple dates. Cities impacted that I've noted include Melbourne, Auckland, Sydney, Singapore, Tokyo and all of Vietnam. It seems only Hyatt 'prime' properties are impacted; MMS, Wink and Standard aren't affected.

Is it me or the app is completely down the last 48 hrs? Can't search for anything. Website is also very laggy

Acting weird for me too. Have done date changes to a couple of reservations and they don't seem to be sticking. Even after confirmation, dates seem to revert back to the original

Still having issues here as well. Unfortunately for me I�m in Tokyo so this is unfortunate timing.

Ditto. When making a new reservation, I would get an error message saying something like that credit card cannot be used, with multiple credit cards. But at least when I try to modify a reservation, the web site is nice enough to tell me that it couldn't make the change and my original reservation remains in effect.
