Anyway, I posted because SAS itself seems to think it is not a Star-facility. Fast track at GVA was exterminated in this document: https://classic.sas.se/upload/pdf/Lo...Track-2017.pdf
– where it is called third party service.

Some times et is good, that SAS not always do what it promises....
GVA being a hub of sorts for a major *A airline (LX) makes it logical that it is a Star facility, even is SK is less logical about *G access...

Two signs at VNO Lounge front desk saying no access if flying with SK. We flew with LO and were warmly welcomed.

I'm thoroughly confused here. Plus with destination being Scandinavia have Star Alliance Access? https://www.flysas.com/en/us/travel-...lounge-access/

Plus is their top product on European flights therefore you get access to *A lounges. But on IC flights the top product is Business therefore no *A lounge access for Plus.

It says clearly "SAS lounge access" for both types. With C tickets of any *A carrier you can usually visit any *A lounge on the departure airport. That does not work with Y tickets called Plus on IC flights. Plus on intra-European flights Is marked as C. So these get you into any *A lounge of at the departure airport of that specific flight.

As an example you fly in Plus LHR - ARN - LAX rt. Then the LHR - ARN flight is a C flight and ARN - LAX a Y flight. So in LHR you can visit any *A lounge and in ARN the SK lounge. On LAX - ARN you are again in Y so only access to SK's lounge in LAX which is non-existent. Therefore no lounge access. ARN - LHR is then a C flight but there is no choice in ARN.

I agree that the first link you posted is quite confusing because it is written from a European perspective and the writers didn't think of coming to Scandinavia on an IC.

So, I'm flying CPH-LHR-CPH next month. From what I've read in this thread, there is no more priority screening and lounge access at LHR? If yes, would be a bummer because that's the whole reason I paid extra for the SAS Plus fare.

LHR has a lounge for SAS pax: you can use the LH/SQ/UA/AC lounges in T2.

One more question, is Fast Track available for only departures or arrivals as well?

There is no arrivals fast track in T2 if I remember correctly. In T3 it is only for long haul arrivals not for European arrivals.

There is, but passengers on SK are not benefited by this.

CA gives out Fast Track Arrivals for F/J pax as well as *G pax in economy class.

Then it probably follows the usual LHR setup of no European arrivals included....

European as in originating point of the flight. Not the passenger.

EBD Heading to AMS next week on LO.

*A lounge finder says that I should head to KL business lounge (for SK and many other *A carriers it reports the executive lounge). This confuses me slightly. Hopefully KL will not turn me away...
