Thanks. I had 126 points, so I put in ten caps and had just enough to get 500 PC points. Don't like the point value going down, though. I may not bother with this any longer.

Oh-so-thank-U ^ SJS58! I was waiting for such an opportunity to empty my MCR acct. I'm only slightly disappointed that the price of 2K PC has been raised from last year's 500 MCR.
I've just grabbed 3500 PC points & topped off a friend's acct. & my own!

Finally the reward I've been waiting for!^ Thanks so much for posting, I wouldn't have noticed it!:o

unloaded my account except for the last 145 points and redeemed 15 PC awards ^

I pretty much figured there would be some devaluation (25%) of the points but this actually wasn't as bad as I thought as Hilton was much worse when they had awards

I happened to log in to enter 1 cap, and was shocked when I saw the rewards! I now have 1 point in my account. :D

The 500 point reward is actually a better deal. If you redeem for 4-500 point rewards, it's 624 MCR points, and 625 MCR points to redeem for the 2,000 point reward. :D

Points not posting

Logged on to FT and saw PC Rewards were back, so I unloaded some points for 2500 PC points. First code went in fine, next code gave me an error that the code was "not valid for my region", please choose from your region's catalog. Called PC Service Center and they said the code was posted to my account, however, the first code showed up right away and these were not. Entered my other three codes and then tried the first code again. Got a message stating it was already redeemed, which was correct, but when I tried to enter one of the other four codes, I got the same "not valid for my region" error. I'll wait until tomorrow and check again. Hopefully it's just a glitch.

The PC points were not a good exchange rate before, but now it's far worse. The amounts redeemed for the amount of caps is trivial. As an example, I burned 280,000 PC points last week and have earned over 10000 PC points so far this week directly from HI. IMHO, I think I'd rather get 42 contest entries with the caps than 500 PC points.

Thanks for posting. Now have 5,000 plus PC points good for 1 free night at 5,000 point bonus hotels!

Will build up kitty for next DL awards to appear.

Thanks for the heads up, SJS58. While not as good an exchange rate as in the past, I'll take what I can get. :)

Just also redeemed for a few of these. There's defintely been some devaluation, if you look at the PP->AA conversion rate, and what it would take to get some decent AA miles. I just have some trouble believing that 2000 PP are worth $25...

By PP you mean Priority Points? They are ussualy called here PC - P. club. I think they convert to miles at 10k to 1,5k wich is very bad rate IMO.

If you're after AA miles you should be playing Live Search Club.

Problem Solved

Logged into PC yesterday and was able to enter my MCR voucher codes with no problems.

Could we please keep "swap" offers in Coupon Connection? I would hate to see this thread taken over with those posts. Thanks.

Of course, if anyone wants to send me some SkyMiles certs for future good karma, I'm more than happy to accept. :D

Error Message

When I tried logging in recently (on two separate computers) I got the following message:

"Error during the invocation of the business service"

Two questions:

Has anyone else received this message?

Does this message mean that the system is temporarily down (perhaps it is scheduled weekly maintenance for late Saturday night and/or early Sunday morning)?

Thanks.
