MyPoints- Refusal to post points earned
Has anyones York Poto points show up for either the clickthrough or a purchase?
I have had a MyPoints account for about a year now and have never had a problem with them. Up until now I never made a purchase, I just got the free points for clicking. We'll I decided to join York Photo and get the 500 points for making a purchase. I did everything as I was supposed to and waited well past the 6 to 8 week post time. No points posted. I received and clicked on at least three different clickthrough ads for York Photo sent by MyPoints but NONE of them showed up. It was like York Photo didn't even exist with MyPoints.
I emailed MyPoints with all the info including their ad and my receipt and they refused to do anything. I explained the issue again and again they refused. The points I would have earned would have gotten me to my award level where I would have cashed in. Now I have to wait a bit longer. I know it's not that big of a deal but I think they should live up to their promises and if their system messes up I shouldn't be penalized. In the future I will have to make sure every time I click or purchase that it shows up immediately I guess. Bad job MyPoints.

For the purchase bonus points with Mypoints, I had to say that chances are I would have to chase my points after the 30 days window had passed. I usually make a note of it and wait for the 30 days. If no points shows up, I will shoot off my "missing points inquiry email" to Mypoints membercare. (You can do it either by sending a direct email or using the hyperlinks provided under your account transaction history under each clickthru). Sometimes it will take a couple of email to repeatedly send them the pruchase/sign-up confirmation email.
To Mypoints credit, they have always honored my requests and posted my pruchase bonus points, even though it would longer than the orginal 30 days window. No complaints, as long as I get my owed points.

Easy solution here. Call there 800 number and talk to a CSR. If they say they will not credit the points start to get pissed at them and let them know your not happy. The points will be credited immediately, I ran into some similar problems with them in the past as well. Called their 800 number and this worked.

By "refused" I mean they said that their system didn't show I ever clicked on the York promotion so they won't credit the points to my account.
What I would like to find out is if anyone else clicked on the York Photo clickthrough and got the 5 points or joined and got the points. Since I clicked on multiple York ads (5 points each) and my account doesn't show any of them, I am thinking this is a system issue. If others received any points for the York ad then I'll resign myself to not getting the points.

I've got the same problem
I'm in the same situation rc408. My signup for YorkPhoto thru MyPoints is as if it never existed. There is no click-thru showing in my account transaction history. Nada, nothing. I have my confirmation e-mail from York, but MyPoints says it never happened. I thought I was going nuts. Glad to hear that its not just me. I think our chances of getting MyPoints to correct this issue are ZERO though. I've written off the points. On to bigger and better things.

Its not just you
I've had several issues... most of the time they will post, but on a recent promo that would have given me another 1200 points they refused, and after 8 different e-mails that they ignored, i gave up... i'm building up some points for a reward and then i'm giving up on it... to many hoops to jump when there are better rewards for shopping.... (Fat Wallet is much more rewarding)

I am really surprised that Mypoints is refusing to give the points when you are showing proof that you made the purchases. I'll bet others didn't get their points and haven't even noticed yet. I had to chase down some points for Avon a few months ago and decided it takes too much time and effort to chase the points. By the way, what is the 800 tele # for Mypoints?

I don't know if this helps or not, but here this is from my account statement:
Clickthru06-01-06 Clark Color June BonusMail +5 points
Earn * 07-01-06 Clark Color June BonusMail +25 points
I had to have Memberservices manually credit the registration points. I didn't make a purchase with them, so I can't help there.
In general, about a month ago, I noticed a huge change in Customer Service. It first started with not receiving the "Auto-Interact" ID message with case number. Then the responses from MemberServices were taking a few days to receive and they really put you through the run-around to get your rightfully earned points. I missed out on 300 SurveyMail points because I can't provide a proof of survey completion. I have NEVER received a survey completion email. Overall, I am very unsatisfied with Customer Service since July 1. They don't seem to resolve issues as quickly as they used to and they don't really investigate your issues. Their blanket, form responses show that they don't even look at your account statement to see what you are even talking about in your emails (e.g., they told me that in order to resolve the issue, I needed to to go to my account statement and click on the "clickthru" link to send an email to customer service, even though that is what I did in the first place to send the issue off to them).

Mypoints for York Photo (5 points) posted to my account July 26, 2006. I didn't buy anything. Hope this info helps.
