I don't know if any other shopping malls include this partner, but if they do, please post them!

Does this work with the discount codes too?
Even if not, this might be a good way to keep your miles from expiring.

- $50 minimum food purchase (other places are now up to $35)
- only valid for dinner
- not valid Fri/Sat
- 18% gratuity added before discount
on top of the restriction that requires the $$$ to be applied only to the food purchase.
Whereas you used to be able to save over 60% on your *total* bill, savings are now in the 20-30% range. Not bad, but hardly spectacular, since Diners Club and others will give you 20% cash back on your total bill (including alcohol and tip) at hundreds of restaurants anyway...

I learned just now about restaurant.com and have a few questions.
1. Are there any expiry dates on the vouchers?
2. What is this 18 %? Do I also need to pay tips on top of that?
3. I saw several restaurants in NYC with a 35 USD mininum. Why are you talking about 50 USD minimum?
4. What means a minimum of 35 USD for food is required? Do I need to order 35 USD for one person or in total? Do the prices of (soft) drinks also count towards the minimum amount that is required?
5. What happens if I order for less than the mandatory minimum amount? Let's say the minimum is 35 and I order one meal for 30.50 plus one coke? May I use the voucher and pay 10 USD [35 (minimum) - 25 (value of voucher)]?
PS: How can you get 20 % cash back from Diners Club? Is this only for US cards?
@:-) PPS: The person who answers first all four questions qualifies for 10 USD voucher. Please send me a PM so that I can give you my e-mail address. With this in hand, you may refer me as a new member and get 10 bucks from restaurant.com

2. That is the tip. No need to add to it unless you want to do so.
3. Different minimums exist. $35 is most common but in NYC $50 is not uncommon.
4. No idea.
5. Always glad to help. I am sure someone will want the referral credit.

Does mentioning the voucher decrease the food quality?
Thanks mshaikun for the fast answers. Send me a PM if you want to sign-me up and you'wll get the credit.
I also have another question: Why does one always need to mention prior to ordering that one has a voucher? Does this not decrease the quality of food? Any experience witht that?
