I just had a pop-up box confirm my 800 points and it said that the offer was good every seven days.

This is great news. I hope Tupperware is making good money on this deal so it does not end.

Which link/banner/e-mail was it?

I hope Tupperware is making money too. I did this eight times this month clicking links and e-mail, and earned 800 points each time. Plus a couple of days ago I used my eight, $1 gift certificates to help buy a small Tupperware item.
But if some company is making money, some other company must be losing money. 800 points for a $1 is worth $5.71 in WalMart products (by redeeming 1,400 points for $10 in WalMart gift cards). Somewhere along the line somebody is in the red, but it isn't us. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Here's another twist: Somehow I got airmilesmart miles too. I have 2 postings of 1 point each for Tupperware. I was looking around airmilesmart and had clicked on their Tupperware link before I did the Mypoints one. I don't know exactly what I did though.

Same 'extra' here. I was in Ebates prior to ordering my GCs through MyPoints and yesterday I received 3 emails from Ebates announcing I've received 4c for Tupperware activity!

Here's what I've been able to find:

1) Homepage: Large banner on right side (258882)
2) Shopping: Large banner on right side (258897)
3) Earn Points: Large banner on right side (258887)
4) Shopping: Medium banner in center, under "In the spotlight" (258931)
5) Account Statement: Small banner under "Need more points?" (258907)
6) Earn Points: Small banner under "Great offers" (238201)

I also found two more that are currently not working, but may after Mypoints fixes the glitches they mention are occuring today (#6 above wasn't working before, but does now):

7) Shopping: Under "Merchant List", alphabetically under "T" (189245)
8) Pop-up when you first log into Mypoints (258913)

Mentioned above, but I haven't found:

9) Homepage: Small banner in center (perhaps like the spotlight one under shopping?)

#4 can take a LOT of reloading to get to show, and #8 took even longer (I'm leaving the pop-up open until I get it to work, because this is the first time I've seen it all day)
</font>
I may have one more to add. I got my first Tupperware points on Tuesday. When I decided to go back for more today, I realized I hadn't remembered which banner I'd clicked. I thought it was the #1 (258882), but wasn't sure.

Anyway, I dug around in my browser history files, and found the link I used was
http://mptlbx01.mypoints.com/mp_tlbx...issuer_id=7777

I haven't see 258946 listed in any thread yet, so I revisited the link and it is in fact the 800 point tupperware offer.

Proceed at your own risk...

Edited to add: I did several today, assuming the points show up tomorrow, I'll try 258882 myself to verify that it's different from 258946. Then I'll know by Monday (?) if it really is separate.

I just cashed in 4000 of mypoints for HHonors points. It's the first time I've ever cashed in mypoints for anything. At the end of the transaction it said to allow 4 to 6 weeeks for the transfer to post in my HHonors account. Does it usually take that long?

Rut Dog Mar 22, 2003 11:44 pm

Right on, swag! I got it, and am assuming they post, since every time I've gotten the 800 popup, they post.

Something tells me you may have clicked the elusive #9, especially since you thought you might have clicked #1, and 1 and 9 are both on the homepage.

Also, has anyone gotten #7 to work? I haven't, and I know PaulMSN and a few others have reported the same.

I also found it confusing that some use the "jump" page, which, when you click on them, you go to first, saying...

<font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">Make any purchase from Tupperware and receive 800 Points! (Monthly) The 15% off sale does not include eGift Certificates. Offer ends March 31, 2003.

Attention Mac users — Please Note: To access Tupperware.com you must visit the site using Internet Explorer 5 or higher, or Netscape 6.2 or higher as your browser.

Continue to Tupperware and 800 Points! </font>
But just because you don't get the jump page, doesn't mean you won't get the 800 points. This is true for #6 and swag's "new" code, which I'm going to tie to #9 for now unless someone can find a different code for that.

So to help clear up the confusion, I'd like to update waitress' list with jump inof as follows:

    boggie, welcome to FlyerTalk!

You'll soon learn that the search function will often answer questions quicker for you than we can. The following threads tell you exactly what you need to know, and were found by searching "mypoints hilton hhonors" in S.P.A.M.

I can verify I also didn't get any points from clicking on the alphabetic merchant list. But I did hit it nine times out of eleven (two I just got the gift certificate). You can add to the list, if you got the e-mail MyPoints/Tupperware message, it's also worth 800 points. I got it there too.

Anyway, I just got the Tupperware Spaghetti holder in the mail, that I ordered with eight certificates and a couple of dollars. I'm now saving up my $1 gift certificates for salt and pepper shakers ($8.99).

Actually, Tupperware does have some good products. They put their catalog in the box. We should actually try to use our gift certificates. Doing so might influence them to keep their offers on MyPoints.

Select $5, then when you get to the shopping cart to checkout, you can change it to $1 and update it.

The 800 pts are limited to monthly. Is that by calendar month or 30 days from each "purchase." I am inclined to think calendar month otherwise, logically, it would say every 30 days.

Did anybody else get a login prompt in the pop-up window where the 800-point confirmation belongs? What causes this? I was already correctly logged in.

In my case, repeated entry of a correct login just gave the same prompt back. Does this mean I should do another transaction to get the 800 points?
