I wouldn't be so sure the problems you see have anything to do with the tupperware offer being abused. There are many other links that aren't working also (Reflect.com & mypoints wireless were two I just clicked on and got the Oracle error, and I haven't heard of any "creative" earning going on there.)
I think they are just having major problems with their backend database. Remember, it was only two days ago that a whole bunch of accounts, including mine, were accidentally disabled, and now they've got a message on their site acknowledging links aren't working. A few hours ago, none of the pages would load correctly for me. If they really wanted to avoid users being able to take advantage of offers multiple times, they could simply use the same code number in each link. For some reason they use different codes for links to the same offer that are posted in different sections of the site, and also for some reason, it is these codes that determine the uniqueness of the offer. It's been this way for years, and I just can't believe it's an oversight at this point. |
ps. neophyte: #7 and #10 (which only says 2 pts/$) are the same code, so I think you're right, #7 is not a valid way to get the 800 pts.

Last night I ordered gift certificates via an email offer and the popup on the homepage. I got the confirmation but there are no points in my account this morning.

Thanks dbmaury for the great tip!! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/thumbsup.gif
I found all but one of the "extra offers" dbmaury listed (the small banner on the homepage didn't show up, even after many, many refreshs) adding an extra 4000 points to the 800 I already earned last week. Points showed up this morning in my account and are already on their way to Hilton. Judging by what I read in some of the previous posts I might have been just in time: I did my clicking at about 6.30pm EST. |
would you be able to get points for going to quicklist by merchant also i you did the other 7 tupperware banners?
|
I don't know what everyone means about Mypoints shutting this down. I did a number of the options about 1:15 am EST last night, with no hassle, and ALL the points posted overnight.
|
Also, looking at their website, the banners seem to still be operating under their distinct offer codes.

Yay! I got points for 6 Tupperware offers. I earned more points this week than I did my first 3 years with MyPoints! Gotta love this forum!

Want 4800 points? The 6 links for the 800 point Tupperware deals are here:

Just a tip for getting the Tupperware pop-up on the home page. Sometimes it takes a long time to get there. All you need to do is to get ANY pop-up, even it is not the Tupperware offer. Once you have the pop-up on the screen, click on the pop-up window to highlight it. Then hit CTRL-R to refresh the pop-up itself. Continue to hit CTRL-R until you actually see the Tupperware offer. This saves a lot of time vs. reloading the MyPoints home page or logout and log back in.
Also, I did 6 offers last night (3/15 11PM CST). All points posted today. Just finished another 6 for my wife's account. One thing I noticed was that although I order the gift certificates one after another late at night, the serial number on the certificates was more than 10 numbers apart. Can't imagine this will last too long. Enjoy while you can! |
Did the six different links to buy thru.
Serial numbers were as close as 3 numbers.(3 of the six) |
I don't know why I'm being discriminated against. I've tried about 10 times to order Tupperware, and when I get to making final payment, it comes up with the dreaded "Page not found". What's up with that?
|
Thank You Huangft! I finally got the pop up |
Well, thanks to this forum I have enough HHonors points for an entire vacation to Muskogee. And I just did some more transactions so if those points ever post, I can upgrade to Wichita or somewhere else.
Since the Tupperware offer is so popular, I was thinking they need a slogan. I thought of a couple but they aren't very good... "Your next vacation is only 15 banners away!" "Order Tupperware from mypoints and see where the e-gift certificates take you." "Stay in a Hilton - or two or three - on us!" "Have your next Tupperware party in a Hilton!" |
