Just to give you all an update...
I downloaded my viewbar tonite and it is not too annoying, esp as it is counting up the 10 miles per hour 1 by 1.... You don't have to click on it and it does sem to do a timeout when the screensaver comes on, but hey it is faster overall than milespree!
I am a Platinum, so if anyone wants to join as a Platinum I would appreciate the referral as gold members do not receive referral credit for other than gold.

Not to be negative but isn't this business model the same as that of AllAdvantage (get paid for surfing the web)?
I'd be afraid of them going out of business before I could earn a free ticket.
As an aside - referring to AllAdvantage - I have heard of a program called TakeAdvantage that was floating around a while back. It had the effect of making the user look like he was actively surfing the web even when they were away from the computer. No doubt, someone will develop something similar for MilesBar.

They recently took away all kinds of bonus miles, (2500 for 3 months, 5000 for 6 months, etc.) allow you to gain points for only 5 hours/day and you need a minimum of 25000miles before you can switch them to another airline. Doing the math, you would need to be online for almost two years before you could get 25,000. All this being said, I do think I'll stick it out a few more months and see how everything pans out. There was some other stuff in this message but it really wasn't too important. It just stated stuff like "we have a number of different advertisers" and also that they were interviewed by some internet web sites. I figured if I pasted the whole thing it would take up the whole page.
Currently I am a platinum member but I am on the fence. They recently took away all kinds of bonus miles, (2500 for 3 months, 5000 for 6 months, etc.) allow you to gain points for only 5 hours/day and you need a minimum of 25000miles before you can switch them to another airline. Doing the math, you would need to be online for almost two years before you could get 25,000. All this being said, I do think I'll stick it out a few more months and see how everything pans out. The curiousity of how this whole site will play out intrigues me. Well...check it out for yourself and if you sign up, please use me as a referal. Thanks.
