I think it looks good , akin to the Heathrow lounge. From the pics it definitely looking like it offers a menu dining service.

FYI, this guy says in Thai language that comparing the QR lounge in BKK to the TG lounge in BKK is like comparing Ritz Carlton to a hostel.

I stopped by the QR lounge at 9am local time today prior to my MH flight. The door was closed and locked and there are no opening times shown at the door. It looks like they open the lounge only around the times QR has flights, which is 1:35, 5:25, 8:35, 14:35 (HAN), 19:30, and 20:40. So the lounge is possibly open approximately from 16:30 until 8:00 without closing, or if it closes during that time span, it's probably not for very long. There is a bigger gap between the Doha flights 8:35 to 19:30 with only the Hanoi flight in between, so it's not clear if they open the lounge or not for passengers to Hanoi but I would guess they do.

One contact at the airport told me informally that OneWorld passengers can access the QR lounge but only if they travel in F or J. This remains to be confirmed from someone else from FT who will visit the lounge...

I can (probably) confirm this. On the way to my TG flight Thursday afternoon (approx 5:30pm) I stopped in to inquire about entry and was told by staff that Emeralds and Sapphires were welcome to enter. When I asked if she was sure another staff appeared from inside, older and non-Thai, and told me no, only J/F pax; statused Y pax flying QR are still being given vouchers to access the TG lounge.

While I did not ask specifically about OW J/F pax there is a permanent OW emblem above the door outside of the lounge which at least suggests other J/F pax should be allowed entry.

Access: F/J pax only. OW partner F/J pax allowed. F/J pax travel companion is allowed with THB 2,000.

Food: Buffet style. Vegetarian options available. Desserts are nice (both western & Arabian). Chicken, beef and prawns for meat options.

Shower: 2 in total. Rituals amenity.

Martini Bar: Monopole Bluetop Champagne.

Seats: Sofa area - 56 individual couches with 2 iMac + prayer rooms. Dining area / Martini Bar: another 40 Seats I think.

Location: after fast track immigration / security - take escalator down to L3. It is very close to security. CX lounge seems to be closer to gate (G area) but it closes before 8pm.

We managed to lounge hop all 3 OW options. CX has cut out Aesop and Moët compared to our last visit in 2016.

Seems tight for 2 x 777 + 380 departing 20:25, 20:35, and 20:55 from 25 Mar 2018.

Yeah, potentially 100+ from those three flights.
The sign outside says it's licensed to accommodate 123, so not a lot to spare.

24-J 777 + 42-J 777 + 380 (48J + 8F) gives 122 in total.

Wow, that is tight.
I hadn't allowed for the 42-J.
And, I guess, the 123 doesn't necessarily equate to seating capacity.

BKK is a growing destination and with the 777 Qsuite coming with a lot of J seat, we can expect crowded lounge.

2 shower seem very few , long waiting time expected.
